BLUE SKIES is a smaller version of Blue Lightning . The design achieved 3rd place in the Practical Boat Owner Magazine trailer-sailer design competition. (see December 1999 PBO for 2 page description of the design).
She retains all the features of the larger boat, in a smaller package. Some performance and accommodation space is inevitably sacrificed, but BLUE SKIES is cheaper to build and to own, and is even easier to handle ashore or afloat.
